Serie: Promo zu Slingers

Diese Promo, also ein kleiner Teaser, eine leichte Quälerei, sagt zwar weder etwas über die Qualität der Serie, noch über die endliche Produktion der Serie aus, macht mich allerdings extrem gespannt auf die ganze Kiste. Scheinabr ist es eine Gangster-Sci-Fi-Show in Space, mit einem leichten Retro-Future-Touch. Wie gesagt, es ist nur eine Promo, aber es sieht, zumindest für mich, so aus, als könnte das ganze tatsächlich funktionieren. Hier mal ein paar Worte des Writers dazu:

It’s directed by Steve Barron and stars Sean Pertwee, Adrian Bower, Tom Mison, Margo Stilley, Haruka Abe, GUN and JUNIOR. The outstanding conceptual design was by Arran and Corran Brownlee. The music is by The Mummers. And yeah I’m the creator/writer/idiot who came up with it. Sleepydog are the guys running the show.

To quickly answer the most obvious question, we’re hoping to shoot the pilot in 2010. We have a few more meetings to get through before that happens, but we’re still heading in the right direction. In fact we’ve had a lot of good news since the last update on here, but I don’t wanna jinx anything just yet.

Das alles bedeutet noch nicht, dass wir Glück haben und endlich mal etwas Neues zusehen bekommen. Aber die Hoffnung stirbt ja bekanntlich zu letzt. Außer man ist ein blondes, vollbusiges Mädchen ohne Nachnamen in einem B-Movie, namens Hope. Hier der Promotrailer, Viel Spaß!
