Der Green-Lantern-Song: Kirby Krackle – Ring Capacity

Ich hatte hier ja neulich “On and On” von Kirby Krackle, der Nerd-Rockband aus Seattle, mit dem Song über Wolverine. Wie angedroht hatte ich mich mal näher mit der Band beschäftigt und, Leute, die sind was. Nämlich etwas ganz Feines, verwursten sie doch wirklich hauptsächlich Comicthemen in Songs. Ich bin wirklich begeistert, zumal das alles wirklich auch sehr, sehr anständig klingt.

Beim Durchhören ihrer CDs (was man ganz einfach auf deren Seite machen kann) stiess ich natürlich auch auf “Ring Capacity”, ein Song über Green Lantern Hal Jordan, der ja schonmal ordnetlich abgeht. Leider gab es aber kein anständiges Video dazu, also suchte ich weiter und fand oben eingefügtes, das Szenen aus dem animierten Film nimmt, der zwar nicht wirklich gut war, aber hier schonmal von mir kurz besprochen worden ist.

Die Stelle mit dem Eid, huh, Gänsehaut.
