Im Proof-of-Concept-Fanfilm “1987: Blood of the Bat” jagt Batman Vampire

Vor mittlerweile doch eher einiger Zeit zeigte ich euch ja den Batman-Fanfilm “1986”, in dem neben der ein oder anderen bekannten Figur aus seiner Rogues Gallery auch noch der Punisher eine Rolle spielte. Nun sind die Leute hinter dem Projekt zurück und Teasern uns mit “1987: Blood of the Bat” eine Fortsetzung an, die allerdings erst noch produziert werden will. Dazu sind sie natürlich auch auf IndieGoGo unterwegs, um das irgendwie zu finanzieren. So hochwertig, wie der erste Teil aussah, wundert mich das auch eigentlich gar nicht.

We always wanted to come back and do another BATMAN fan film – but it would always depend on what type of story we would want to make… we now have one – and we’re very excited for you all to see it! 

“1986” was a neon, action short film, heavily influenced by John Carpenter and the early works of Michael Mann and James Cameron… as well as an obvious love of Frank Miller’s THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS. 
With “1987: BLOOD OF THE BAT” we’re going down a darker path with the sole aim of making a kick-ass Horror/Action short film that will hopefully blow people away…

Nichtsdestotrotz sind Vampire und Batman aber irgendwie eine sehr naheliegende Kombination, mit der ich aber auch ganz gut leben könnte. (via)
